Overview:

During this fast- paced course, you will gain an understanding of the Broadcast Agent components and their purposes; learn the basics of deployment, sizing, and scaling of Broadcast Agent; and understand how to prepare and install Broadcast Agent servers. In addition, you will explore Broadcast Agent tuning issues; understand how to implement Broadcast Agent within a distributed system; recognize the differences between Windows NT and UNIX Broadcast Agent implementations; and understand when heterogeneous Broadcast Agent deployments may be necessary.

IT professionals who are responsible for installation, management, maintenance, and administration of a Broadcast Agent implementation

Prerequisites:

• Attendance on Server Products Admin course or in house experience of Business Objects is recommended.
