Macintose Course Overview
In this course, you will gain experience with Flash tools and methods for working in Flash.You will build on this knowledge by using Flash to create animations that you can publish on the Web or as stand-alone files.
Prerequisites:
In order to take this course, you need to be familiar with your computer's operating system and basic operation.

Flash 5: Introduction (Macintosh) is a hands-on instruction book that will introduce you to the basics of the Flash 5 application.

Hardware/Software Requirements:
You will need:
- A Power Macintosh (G3 or higher recommended) running System 8.5
or later.
- 32 MB of random-access memory (RAM) plus a minimum of 40 MB of
available disk space (64 MB recommended).
- A color monitor capable of 800 x 600 resolution.
- Either Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or Netscape Navigator
4.0 (or later version).
- Macromedia Flash 5.
- A CD-ROM drive.
Performance-Based Objectives:
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
- View a Flash movie and modify the appearance of the Stage.
- Draw, paint, and create custom colors and line styles using Flash
tools.
- Manipulate objects, experiment with shape interaction, and import
artwork.
- Build layers and use them to create effects.
- Add text, and manipulate its behavior and appearance.
- Create frame-by-frame, shape tweened, and motion tweened animation.
- Publish a Flash movie.
