Overview:
This course gives the student an understanding of the role of the Analyst, and how that person brings together the building blocks (people, data, process, interface and communications) of modern IT systems. It introduces the concepts of Enterprise Analysis, Requirements Elicitation, Requirements Analysis, Requirements Communication and Solution Assessment and Validation. These are the key areas defined in the International Institute of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK). This class is designed as an introduction to further classes that focus on various best practices used in the analysis and design processes
