Overview

Go beyond the basics and master data analysis with Microsoft Excel in this two day, hands-on course.

Microsoft Excel has been the standard tool for performing data analysis and visualization for over 30 years. It has a rich set of features that include data storage, calculations and formulas, logical operators, interactive charts and graphs, and statistical and optimization functions.

In this course, you will learn how to use both of these applications to manipulate and analyze data and discover valuable insights.

Prerequisites

All students should have:

  • Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system and its core functionality.
  • Basic Knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
Learning Objectives

Participants in this course will learn how to work with large data sets, clean and combine data sets, work with pivot tables and slicers, conduct statistical and sensitivity analysis, and create dashboards that communicate actionable business results.
