Overview
In this one day course students are introduced to Service Oriented Architecture, its terminology, concepts, motivation, benefits, pitfalls and techniques. It provides a solid grounding in the terminology, concepts behind SOA, and moreover, practical guidance taken from real-world experience is also embedded within the course, so that students understand the practical consequences of implementing an SOA within an organization. This course is suitable for all backgrounds, from C-level executives down to Analysts and Developers. Although there is some technical content around Web Services, the course focus is squarely on design and conceptual aspects, including the important and often neglected topic of SOA governance.
