Macromedia Training Overview

You know how to create basic web pages. You now need to create professional-looking websites. In this course, you will use the advanced features of Dreamweaver 8 to design and develop professional-looking websites.

Target Student:

Students who want in-depth understanding of techniques used to create advanced web pages.

Prerequisites

Before taking this course, students should take the Macromedia Dreamweaver 8: Level 1 course or have equivalent knowledge.

Objectives

You will create and develop professional-looking web pages using Dreamweaver 8.

Hardware Requirements

An Intel Pentium II processor or equivalent 300+ MHz.
At least 96 MB of available RAM (128 MB recommended).
At least 275 MB available disk space for software installation, and an additional 10 MB for the course data files.
A 256 color monitor capable of 800 x 600 resolution (1024 x 768, millions of colors recommended).
A CD-ROM drive.

Software Requirements

Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer 4.0 or greater.
Macromedia Dreamweaver 8.0.

Platform Requirements

Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000, Windows 98, or Windows NT with Option Pack 4.
