Tivoli Training Overview
This two day workshop is intended for System Administrators responsible for ITSM 5.2 Disaster Recovery Manager set up and implementation. This class focuses on the setup and use of the ITSM Disaster Recovery Manager to provide automated preparation of a disaster recovery plan.. The participants get the ITSM Disaster Recovery hands-on experience through numerous lab exercises.
The participants should have a working knowledge of System Administration concepts. Familiarity with operating systems and with the corporate disaster recovery concepts is strongly recommended.
The workshop labs provide the opportunity to fully prepare a DR using transportable media as well as electronic vaulting. Both the backup and the restore are also exercised. The current lab environment is Windows based and it can be adapted to any ITSM operating environment
